Local company posts ‘highest’ profit

A locally owned company, which provides sundry services contract with Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) in Tabubil, Western Province has declared its highest net profit in seven years.
Also, OTML has renewed the company's contract for another four years at a cost of K4 million starting from last year to 2010.
Camp Administration (CA) Limited announced to shareholders during their annual general meeting last week in Tabubil that they had posted a net profit of more than K1.3 million for the 2006 financial year. The company is contracted to provide essential sanitary services including the general upkeep of OTML and contractors employees' rooms, laundry services and grass cutting. The company is owned by 47 clan groups from the Ok Tedi mine lease area.
